As part of our ‘3 minute series’ of blog posts, we’re talking to key members of the gomo family so you can get to know them better. Customer service is a top priority for us and as we get to know you, it’s only fair that we return the favour. If you haven’t already seen it, check out our 3 minutes with Thom Tate, BDM for North America. Today we’re talking to Pratibha, our Test Lead & Product Support guru.
Tell us about yourself – who are you?
That’s a question to which I am still looking for an answer myself. But philosophy apart, I am a fun loving person who likes to spend time with friends and family. Shopping and planning holidays are my favourite pastimes. I absolutely despise finance related things and enjoy painting, whether it’s the house walls or a canvas.
What’s your greatest achievement?
I believe my greatest achievement is to be able to manage my work-life balance and raise a beautiful, caring and kind daughter, of whom I am extremely proud of.
What do you do at gomo?
My role at gomo is that of QA and Support. The developers at gomo team would say the sole purpose of my role is to make their lives miserable by finding bugs and asking for improvements. So, I try to do that in the nicest way possible. I also help manage releases that we do regularly in order to provide new features or bug fixes.
My other role is to provide support to our precious clients, help answer their questions and resolve any issues they might have.
Why do you love working at gomo?
I love working at gomo as we are small team and each of us knows that our input makes a difference. I like the flexibility and freedom I have with the way I want to work without feeling that I am being dictated to by the rules.
Finally, favourite chocolate bar and why?
Ooh, I love chocolates in general and don’t have a single favourite. But if I have to pick one it will generally be one of two:
Aero Mint: when I want something sweet. I love the light bubbly texture and minty flavour.
Green & Black’s Dark Chocolate bar: when I don’t want something sweet. The bitter taste and smooth texture is an amazing combination.
We love getting to know people here at gomo, so if you want to find out more about us then get in touch to speak to a member of the team.
