As part of our ‘3 minute series’ of blog posts, we’re talking to key members of the gomo family so you can get to know them better. If you haven’t already seen it, check out our 3 minutes with Thom, 3 minutes with Pratibha and 3 minutes with James. Today we’re talking to Gavin, our talented director of product development.

3 minutes with Gavin

Tell us about yourself – who are you?
I am Director of Product Development here at gomo and based in our Brighton office, down on the (sometimes) sunny UK south coast. I love the outdoors, traveling and spending time with my family. I am also a ‘wannabe’ screenwriter and a retired singer in a soul band. The name of the band was “Bitt’a Soul”. It was a 10-piece band with full brass section…Oh the memories.

What’s your greatest achievement?
My children, Lois and George. From a work perspective, I’m really proud that gomo won a Brandon Hall Gold award for Best Advance in Content Authoring and also that gomo was recently recognized as a ‘Core Leader’ in Fosway Group’s 9-Grid™ for Authoring Systems.

What do you do at gomo?
As Director of Product Development at gomo, I head up the team delivering the future development of the product. I also work closely with the LTG group of companies to look at synergies between the group and how gomo can support the other businesses in the group.

Why do you love working at gomo?
Working with the team here at gomo is fantastic. They are dedicated and passionate about what they do and are also really good fun. I also love working with our clients to understand their needs and to be able to address these in our product roadmap.

Finally, favourite chocolate bar and why?
Easy, Maltesers. How can you not love Maltesers?!

We love getting to know people here at gomo, so if you want to find out more about us then get in touch to speak to a member of the team.
